Ardnamurchan 2018 AD/ Heritage Barley Release is comprised of a batch of bourbon barrels filled in 2018 with Ardnamurchan’s unpeated spirit distilled from the classic whisky barley variety Golden Promise, the same strain used in the postwar period for the classic Macallan whiskies, and a few decades later for the greatest Karuizawa single malts.

This Ardnamurchan 2018 AD/ Heritage Barley Release is an edition of 10,290 bottles released at an epic natural cask strength of 59.2%. Golden Promise is renowned for its rich, chewy flavours and oily texture, and this Ardnamurchan should show the variety at its finest.
